The Ventriloquist
The Ventriloquist modification adds a unique enemy to the game that stalks the player and gradually becomes more dangerous as you progress.
Mob Features
The main enemy consists of two separate entities working in tandem. The upper part is the Ventriloquist itself, which controls movements and determines targets. The lower red entity is called the Banshee - it's responsible for attacks and digging ability.
Difficulty Levels
Level 1 (standard) - the creature cautiously follows the player, periodically stops and retreats.
Level 2 - the enemy becomes more aggressive, loses hesitation and gains the ability to jump at the player.
Level 3 - the most challenging version where the mob can build structures to reach the player at height, and also periodically dig tunnels. These abilities are activated only when the mobGriefing setting is enabled.
Difficulty Management
The difficulty level can be changed with the command /gamerule bansheeDifficulty 1-3 or it will automatically increase when reaching certain achievements. For detailed information about each level, use the /bansheeinfo command in-game.
