Terra Incognita
Terra Incognita is a configurable mod that fundamentally transforms world generation and makes Minecraft exploration more exciting. It adds numerous new plants, trees, biomes, and useful tools to diversify your gaming world.
Mod Overview
Main Features
- Dandelion puffs replace a portion of regular dandelions in the world. Yes, you can blow on them!
- Numerous flowers and other plants characteristic of different biomes
- New tree species: Apple, Hazel, Larch, and Ginkgo
- Butterflies — decorative mobs that flutter in the air and occasionally land on flowers to rest
- Peat — a new block type similar to dirt, found in swamps, that accelerates the growth of agricultural crops
- Fern fiddleheads — a new food item dropped from ferns. Can be used to upgrade suspicious stew
- Baskets — portable containers for storing gathered resources
- Wreaths — decorative headwear whose color depends on the flowers used in crafting
