Main Features
New Frogs and Lighting
Added 13 unique frog variants with customizable spawning through JSON files. All frog-related achievements have been adapted for the new variants. Also introduced 13 new types of frog lights that have bouncy properties similar to slime blocks.
Swamp Vegetation
The mod introduces two new varieties of lily pads - large and small. Small lily pads can only be harvested with shears. The lily pad growth system makes them a renewable resource. Lily pads now sink when stood on - sinking time is configurable.
Added cattails and swamp vines. Cattails can be obtained by using bone meal underwater in swamp biomes. Swamp vines replace regular vines in swamps and can grow into water.
Special Mechanics
If you name a frog "Swallow Me Waldo", it transforms into a predator that eats everything around (this feature can be disabled in settings).
Introduced swamp gas, which forms from decaying kelp and appears as green clouds above water. It can be collected with empty bottles. Contact with the gas gives players negative effects (can be disabled). Gas clouds explode when hit by burning projectiles - explosion power is configurable. Gas bottles can be used to create gas lamps with adjustable brightness based on redstone signal.
Agriculture and Resources
Decaying kelp appears naturally underwater in swamps or forms from decomposing kelp blocks. Harvested decaying kelp is used to create fertile farmland where crops grow faster (growth speed and hydration radius are configurable).
Frogs now drop 1-2 legs. The leaping potion recipe has been changed - frog legs are used instead of rabbit feet. Rabbit feet now create luck potions (configurable).
Structures and Mobs
Added swamp villages and dragonflies in several variants and sizes (size is configurable). Swamp tree generation has been completely redesigned with more plants added.
Introduced a new tree - bald cypress. It can be planted by arranging oak saplings in a 2x2 pattern (configurable).
Swamps are decorated with various decorative elements: mud puddles, decaying logs, and other natural details.
