SurvivalPlus Lightsabers (Fabric/Quilt)

Mod Overview

SurvivalPlus Lightsabers brings elements from the Star Wars universe into Minecraft by adding lightsabers to the game. These unique weapons can also function as shields. To activate the lightsaber, use right-click, and to deactivate it — Shift + Right Click. Holding right-click activates the defensive mode.

Main Features

Lightsabers

Available in six color variants: red, blue, green, yellow, purple, and white. Each color has its own characteristics:

• White lightsaber deals 24 damage
• Purple — 22 damage
• Standard colors (red, blue, green, yellow) — 20 damage

Functional capabilities of lightsabers:

• Protection against lightning, guardian attacks, and fireworks
• Starting from version 0.1.7+ — protection against dragon breath
• Ability to ignite TNT
• Cooking food from drops of killed entities
• Drying sea sponges
• Lighting campfires and candles (version 0.1.6c+)

Darksaber

A special weapon type with enhanced sound effects, being the most powerful and hardest to obtain lightsaber. Deals 30 damage.

Sound Design

All lightsabers feature authentic sounds from Star Wars films, as well as The Clone Wars and Rebels series. When joining a world or server, the phrase "Hello There" is played.

Crafting

The crafting system varies depending on the Minecraft version:

• In versions 1.14 and 1.15 — shapeless recipe using a hilt and corresponding crystal
• In version 1.16+ — creation through smithing table with hilt and crystal

Models and Textures

Models are designed by Sushi_Witch and compatible with Optifine. For using the author's original models, a separate resource pack is available. Starting from version 0.1.5, cubed models were added, while the old rounded models remain available.

Configuration

From version 0.1.6b+, configuration of damage and attack speed for all lightsaber types is available.

Compatibility

Starting from version 0.1.7+, the mod uses BetterCombat to add attack and pose animations.

Requirements

For the mod to work, installation of SurvivalPlus and Fabric API is required. Without these components, the mod will not function.
