Surveyor Atlases

This modification provides integration between the Surveyor Map Framework and the popular Map Atlases mod. Thanks to this integration, all map markers are now added automatically, significantly simplifying navigation through the game world.

Configuration Recommendations

For optimal performance, it's recommended to disable terrain rendering on the server side in the Surveyor configuration (surveyor.toml file) by setting the parameter terrain = DISABLED. Since Map Atlases independently handles landscape rendering, this will save resources and reduce data size.

Supported Markers

The mod delegates the rendering of structures and landmarks to the Moonlight marker system. Currently, the following marker types are supported:

• Supplementaries
  • Waystones (via Surveystones mod)
  • Bells, beds, lodestones, Nether portals
  • Various game structures
