Increasing Inventory Capacity

This mod dramatically increases the capacity of standard Minecraft inventory slots without creating special containers. Any slots — in chests, player inventory, shulker boxes, hoppers — all standard inventories can now hold significantly more items. The perfect solution for storing resources from large farms and extensive mines, as well as transporting huge quantities of items without the need to carry dozens of shulker boxes.

Main Features

Super Blocks

Super blocks are highly compressed versions of regular blocks, allowing you to store more items in a single inventory slot. At maximum compression level, one stack of super blocks holds the contents of an entire double chest of standard blocks. There are eight compression levels for each type of super block, with each subsequent level containing 8 more blocks than the previous one.

To extract the original blocks, simply place the super block on a crafting table or use the special UnPacker hopper from the Smart-Hoppers mod in your item sorting and storage system.

Packed Items

Packed items allow you to compress standard items similarly to super blocks. Some packed items can be further compressed into blocks for even greater inventory space savings.

Unlike standard storage blocks in Minecraft, packed items contain more items per block (minimum 36) and always unpack back into the exact quantity of original items.

Super Buckets

Super buckets replace standard buckets, allowing you to store more liquid (lava, water, milk, etc.) in a single inventory slot. Although they can be used instead of regular buckets, super buckets do not change the behavior of standard buckets.

Super buckets don't just increase volume — they work correctly in stacks and have special functions for crafting recipes requiring large quantities of liquid.

Strong Glass

Strong glass blocks are compressed glass blocks with increased hardness and significantly greater blast resistance compared to regular Minecraft glass. Strong glass doesn't shatter like regular glass, and at maximum strength level (Reinforced Fortress glass), it has blast resistance comparable to end stone while remaining transparent and breakable without tools.

From strong glass, you can create other types of super blocks, such as strong glow glass, which can be used as a light source instead of glowstone, lava, or torches.

Splonges

Splonges are player-craftable alternatives to standard sponges that use super blocks to achieve greater absorbency and work with liquids other than water. Unlike regular sponges, a splonge block tries to absorb the maximum number of liquid blocks within its range until saturation at 96 blocks.

A saturated splonge block can be broken into 64 splonge items. Splonge items can be used as replacements for lava and water buckets in many crafting recipes.

Avatars

Avatars are a special class of objects created as a bonus for players in peaceful mode or younger players who enjoy active farming and resource gathering. Avatars (blue items) provide peaceful mode players with an alternative path to obtain some advanced Minecraft items that are normally almost impossible to obtain in this mode.

All avatar creation recipes require other items from this mod, such as super blocks and bottomless buckets.

Super Compatibility Mode [pre mc-1.14]

Since this mod contains many recipes based on standard storage block recipes, it may conflict with other mods that have their own storage block recipes. To always have access to all SuperBlocks Mod recipes even when such mods are present, you can enable the "super compatibility mode" option in the configuration settings.

Super compatibility mode changes most of the mod's basic recipes, requiring a mod-specific item to guarantee no conflicts with other mods' recipes. The option is disabled by default because it makes recipes less intuitive.

Smart-Hoppers Integration

When using super blocks with the Smart-Hoppers mod, the Packer and UnPacker smart hopper recipes do NOT require special items, even if super compatibility mode is enabled.
