Super Axes

A modification that significantly simplifies the wood harvesting process in Minecraft by adding special super axes with extended functionality.

Main Features

Super axes allow you to chop down entire trees with a single strike, making wood gathering much more efficient. If you need to use the tool as a regular axe, simply crouch while working. When the leaf harvesting option is activated, the mod will only collect leaves that should naturally disappear according to the game mechanics. Starting from snapshot version 20w20b, the Silk Touch enchantment works when harvesting leaves.

Required Components

The mod requires Fabric API to function.

Item Crafting

Netherite super axe is created using a smithing table.

Settings and Parameters

The configuration screen allows you to choose whether to collect leaves from the chopped tree. Access to the settings menu requires the Mod Menu (Fabric) mod.

When leaf harvesting is enabled, the "Leaves scanning range" parameter determines the radius within which the possibility of leaf collection will be checked. A larger value may slow down work in dense forests where trees are connected by a common canopy, as the system will have to scan a larger area.

Debug Functions

Starting from version 2.0.7:

The "Show debug lines" option allows the player, by crouching and right-clicking on a log, to see the outline of all logs that will be chopped when mining this log. To remove the outline, repeat the action.

Starting from version 2.0.9:

The "Show debug highlight" option allows the player, by crouching and right-clicking on a log, to highlight the logs that will be chopped. To remove the highlight, repeat the action.

Important Notes

If you change the item in your main hand or throw the super axe during the tree chopping process, the log destruction process will be interrupted.
