Styled Blocks Mod [FORGE]
Mod Features
The Styled Blocks mod offers numerous ready-made building block sets that perfectly complement standard Minecraft materials. Each kit includes a complete range of elements: slabs, tiles, stairs, columns, fences, walls, panes, and buttons. Particularly useful when creating castles, dungeons, and shipyards where diverse texturing of large surfaces made of stone brick, terracotta, wood planks, or prismarine is required.
All items are crafted from ordinary game materials — the mod does not add new ore to the world.
Change History
Version 6.0b3 (first release for Minecraft 1.16.4/5) — added doors, pavers, shingles, bars, and CTM support! See the images section for details.
Compatibility with Previous Versions
In versions before Minecraft 1.14, the mod added missing variants of standard blocks, such as slabs and stairs for andesite and prismarine. Modern comprehensive block sets are not available in older versions, and their backporting is not planned.

Modpack Usage
Developers can include published CurseForge files in their modpacks without changes. Additional permissions are not required.
Getting Started (Minecraft 1.14+)
Base blocks of each set are crafted from standard materials: wood planks, stone, terracotta, sandstone, and glass. Use a crafting table or stonecutter — the required material is usually indicated in the block's tooltip. Installing JEI is recommended to view all crafting recipes.
Mass Production
Using style cards, you can create unlimited quantities of base blocks. Create a kit for the desired material, find the appropriate card, and use a crafting table. The card is reusable, but materials are required for each block.
Hidden Features
- Tiles save resources when covering large floor and ceiling areas
- Like bottom slabs, tiles prevent mob spawning. They can be oriented in 4 directions and placed on ceilings
- Combine retro textures from version 1.12 with modern ones without changing the resource pack
- Most blocks, slabs, and tiles can be made luminous using glowstone dust. Each dust adds 5 units of light. Hold Shift and right-click to extract dust
- Many blocks have unique durability characteristics and resistance to explosions and fire
- Some pressure plates activate only for players and friendly mobs. Full-sized plates can be hidden among tiles
- Functional glass buttons are excellent for secret passages. Bright versions replace glowstone and sea lanterns
- Pavers accelerate movement (acceleration degree depends on type and settings)
- Glass blocks and slabs break without Silk Touch enchantment
- Some blocks are suitable for Nether portal frames (Onyx Cobblestone, Bleeding Glowstone) or conduit activators (Polished Prismarine)
