Step Mod

This practical mod is specifically designed for Minecraft beta 1.7.3 to make mobile device controls more convenient and smooth. It increases the player's step height from the standard 0.5 to 1.1 blocks, allowing you to climb full blocks as easily as half-blocks.

Installation

MultiMC

Upload the ZIP archive using the "Add mod to Minecraft jar file" function.

PojavLauncher

1. Connect your smartphone to the computer, selecting data transfer mode.
2. Navigate to: Internal storage\Android\data\net.kdt.pojavlaunch\files.minecraft\versions
3. Save the pre-downloaded b1.7.3 version to your PC's hard drive.
4. Change the folder name from b1.7.3 to b1.7.3_mod or similar. Update the file names inside the folder accordingly: b1.7.3.jar → b1.7.3_mod.jar b1.7.3.json → b1.7.3_mod.json
5. Open b1.7.3_mod.jar as an archive and place the gs.class file there, replacing the existing one.
6. Edit b1.7.3_mod.json, replacing in the text {"client": {"sha1": "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX", with the current sha1 of the modified b1.7.3_mod.jar file.
7. Move the b1.7.3_mod folder to the directory from step 2.
8. In the pojav launcher, create a new profile by selecting the "Unmodified version" option. Click "select" next to the "Version" field and specify the created profile in the "Installed" section (in this case b1.7.3_mod).

Now you can enjoy enhanced mobility in the Beta 1.7.3 world on your device!
