Step It Up

The Step It Up mod offers smooth automatic stepping onto blocks instead of the standard Auto Jump feature. This is a simple and fast client-side solution that works exclusively on the player's side.

Essentially, this mod performs the same function as the original Step Up, but is adapted for modern Minecraft versions (1.18 and above). However, the code has been completely rewritten - instead of toggling the feature through keybinds, it uses the Cloth Config configuration system.

Configuration

The configuration file is located at config/stepitup.json5 in your Minecraft game folder. You can enable and disable the automatic stepping feature, as well as configure its behavior when sneaking (requires game restart to take effect).

It is recommended to use Mod Menu for dynamic parameter configuration without the need to restart the game.
