Health System Customization
IMPORTANT: This feature may conflict with other mods affecting the health attribute. Unexpected errors and malfunctions are possible.
The health system is fully customizable through the configuration file:
Maximum Health: Determines the upper limit of player's health Minimum Health: Sets the lower health boundary Starting Health: Initial health amount when spawning in the world Health Decrease on Death: Reduction of maximum health after each death (limited by minimum value)
These settings create a harsh system where each death leads to permanent health reduction. For gameplay balancing, restorative items can be added to allow recovery of lost health.
To simplify the game, a system of health threshold values is available. When reaching a certain threshold through restorative items, the minimum health is automatically set to the specified value. A negative threshold can also be set so that players never lose health when reaching this level.
Additionally, a "hardcore" mode is available where minimum health is set to zero. With gradual health reduction through deaths to zero value, the player turns into a spectator, similar to hardcore worlds. For proper operation of this mode, it is recommended to disable health threshold values.
