Stardew Fishing Fabric
Tired of monotonous fishing where you just need to right-click to instantly catch any fish? This mod will completely transform your approach to fishing in Minecraft!
🎯 Mod Features
Instead of the usual mechanics, here you'll find a full-fledged minigame inspired by the popular game Stardew Valley. During fishing, you need to keep a small green "bobber" bar on the moving fish. The more accurately you follow the prey, the faster the progress bar on the side fills up. Completely fill the bar to successfully catch the fish!
The mod is fully compatible with Aquaculture fishing rods and includes a customizable datapack that allows you to adjust the fishing difficulty for each fish type. Difficulty can be configured through various parameters: maximum fish movement speed, acceleration, average movement distance, and other characteristics.
Additional feature - integration with Quality Food, where the quality of caught fish directly depends on your accuracy in the minigame, just like in the original Stardew Valley.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Can I configure the catch difficulty for specific fish?
Yes, this is implemented through an easy-to-use datapack. You can change the default behavior of all fish or set individual settings for rare species, making them harder to catch.
Do I need to install Aquaculture or Quality Food for the mod to work?
No, these mods are not required. Integration with Aquaculture adds support for special rods and difficulty settings for certain fish, but these are completely optional features.
How to make the minigame easier?
You can modify the datapacks so all fish have simpler movement behavior.
Compatibility with other mods
The mod is compatible with any modifications using the standard Minecraft bobber (including Better Fishing Rods). Work with Fishing Real and Tactical Fishing has also been verified. For other mods that add their own fishing rods, compatibility cannot be guaranteed.
Are new features planned?
Possible future additions include treasure chests, various bobbers, and other elements. The mod is open source, so if you want to create an addon - contact the developer!
