StackUp! - Removing Item Stack Limitations
StackUp! mod completely removes Minecraft's standard 64-item stack limit, allowing you to set practically any value. You can familiarize yourself with the basic usage guide (for version 1.12) here.
... - The theoretical limit is about 999 million. However, for technical reasons, I don't recommend exceeding values of several (8-16) million, and ideally - staying well below this threshold. Too high values may cause strange artifacts resembling Farlands in some mods. You have been warned.
How to use the mod:
-
After installation, a configuration file "stackup.cfg" is created. Don't forget to open it and set the maxStackSize parameter - otherwise items will still be limited to 64 units! This setting determines the maximum global stack size. You can set any value - 99? Five hundred? Ten thousand? A million? The limit is only your imagination!
-
After this, you may notice that all blocks and items still have a stack size of 64! This is correct - to avoid game balance issues, StackUp! independently changes default stack sizes only in rare cases. To change item stack sizes, you can use either the built-in scripting system added in StackUp! 0.2.0, or external mods like CraftTweaker.
The mod has been tested with a large number of other mods (including but not limited to Refined Storage, Applied Energistics 2, Charset, Iron Chests, Quark and Rustic), however 100% compatibility is not guaranteed. Please report found bugs directly to us, not to other mod authors!
For mod developers: Although I fix the most common patterns of "maximum slot limits" in inventories, I might miss more complex cases. Items.AIR.getItemStackLimit(); is your friend!
For modpack creators: Be sure to review the scripting system documentation above.
