Squidless

Some players have reported an issue where being positioned too high above water causes squids to continuously spawn and despawn. This rapid cycle repeats endlessly, putting significant strain on both server and client resources, resulting in noticeable performance issues.

To address this problem, the server-side mod Squidless was developed. Its primary function is to prevent squid spawning in locations where they would immediately despawn. This straightforward yet effective solution significantly reduces server load and ensures smoother gameplay.
