Spicy Coal - Enhanced Coal for Minecraft

Welcome to the world of Spicy Coal — a compact mod that transforms ordinary coal into a real energy bomb for your adventures!

What's New in This Mod?

Spicy Coal is a special type of coal that outperforms regular coal in all aspects. Unlike standard coal, which creates 8 torches and smelts 8 items, Spicy Coal allows you to craft 12 torches and smelt 24 items! It can also be used to create blaze rods.

New Crafting Recipes

The mod adds a whole arsenal of useful items:

  • Spicy Ingot — a metallic version that unlocks access to new recipes
  • Spicy Apples — restore 8 hunger points (twice as much as a regular apple) and grant fire resistance for 30 seconds
  • Spicy Helmet — provides immunity to fire and +5 protection (remember the helmet from version 1.4?)
  • Spicy Soup — restores 14 hunger points
  • Spicy Sword — has modest base damage but can inflict the "Cursed Inferno" effect, which constantly sets the target on fire. It can be extinguished with water, but leaving the water reignites the victim until the effect expires

Resource Features

Spicy Coal requires a diamond pickaxe to mine and generates in the Nether. Also available is the Spicy Coal block — an excellent building material with superior smelting properties.
