Souls Modification
This gameplay pack fundamentally changes the standard death mechanics in Minecraft, offering a more challenging gaming experience without fully transitioning to hardcore mode.
You can now collect souls by defeating any creatures in the game. With each death, you'll need to pay a certain number of souls to respawn. The initial price is 4 souls, but it gradually increases with each subsequent death. If you die and don't have enough souls to pay - the game ends, and you switch to spectator mode.
The respawn cost also increases over time: after each full game day passes, the price automatically rises.
Difficulty Levels
The modification offers three difficulty levels:
- Easy
- Normal
- Hard
Each level affects the rate at which the respawn cost increases with deaths and day changes.
Management and Commands
To configure the mod parameters, use the command:
/function souls:config
View current statistics with:
/trigger souls.checkStats
This command will show the current respawn cost, number of souls you have, and the set difficulty level.
Day change notification management is handled by:
/trigger souls.togglNotif
Multiplayer Compatibility
The modification is fully adapted for multiplayer gaming. The soul system works individually for each player: your respawn cost doesn't affect other server participants. It's also important to note that time (the respawn cost increasing with each day) is only calculated while the player is on the server. When exiting the game, the timer stops.
