Solid Worlds - Fully Solid Worlds
The Solid Worlds mod opens up a completely new level of gameplay in Minecraft, allowing you to generate so-called "solid" worlds - without traditional underground structures and voids. This is what you've been looking for if you want a maximally dense and solid game world.
Complete Control Over Generation
With this mod, you get precise control over which elements will appear in your world. You can independently enable and disable:
- Caves and underground tunnels
- Canyons and gorges
- Underwater cave systems
- Underwater faults on ocean floors
- Underground lakes (lava and water)
- Mines and mining operations (enabled by default)
Important Technical Information
Note that if you disable caves and canyons, dungeons can only generate in mines.
Cascade disabling also applies - if regular caves are disabled, underwater cave systems automatically won't generate. Similarly works with canyons - disabling regular gorges also disables their underwater variants.
What's New in Version 1.1.0
Update 1.1.0 added a surface lake generator (lava and water), which is disabled by default. This can add new interesting landscape features to your world.
Easy Management
You can configure all generation parameters in two ways:
- Use "Mod Menu" for fine-tuning
- Open the mod's settings menu directly
