Solar Apocalypse - Apocalypse Under the Scorching Sun

This mod initiates a solar apocalypse scenario in Minecraft that gradually intensifies over game time, turning the world into a scorched desert.

Catastrophe Stages

Starting from day 20, the first phase of the apocalypse begins: blocks exposed to direct sunlight start to break down, and water evaporates. To skip directly to this stage, use the command /time set 20d.

By day 40, the situation worsens: all mobs, items, and players begin to burn when exposed to light. To skip to this phase, enter /time set 40d.

From day 60, the danger extends to heights above 100 blocks, and lightning frequency during thunderstorms doubles. Command to transition: /time set 60d.

On day 80, the ignition horizon drops to 60 blocks, and lightning strikes become 4 times more frequent. Use /time set 80d to skip.

From day 100, the danger zone lowers to 50 blocks, and lightning frequency increases 8-fold. Command: /time set 100d.

On day 120, the ignition horizon falls to 25 blocks, and lightning becomes 16 times more frequent. To transition: /time set 120d.

From day 140, the entire surface becomes deadly dangerous, and lightning strikes 32 times more often than normal. Command: /time set 140d.

Visual Effects and Mechanics

In areas affected by the apocalypse, fire damage increases 5 times, a heat effect appears on the screen, and fog becomes significantly closer to the player.

With each stage, the sun increases in size, the sky tint changes, and the sunlight color shifts, creating an atmosphere of escalating catastrophe.

Settings and Configuration

All mod parameters are fully customizable through the configuration file. You can disable any stage by setting the phase start day value to -1. An option to turn blocks into lava is also available, which is disabled by default.

"Sunscreen" Effect

When respawning in a dangerous area, the player receives the "Sunscreen" status for 2 minutes, providing time to find shelter from the scorching sun.

Compatible Mods

For survival in solar apocalypse conditions, it's recommended to install the Day Dream mod, which allows sleeping during the day, and Daylight Mobs Reborn with the option to spawn hostile mobs during daylight hours.

Technical Requirements

For the mod to work, the following are required: Fabric, Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin, Cloth Config API, and Mod Menu.
