About the Mod

The Snow Pig mod adds a frozen pig to Minecraft that inhabits cold biomes. This creature is very similar to a regular pig but has its unique features.

When you defeat the snow pig, it drops frozen pork that can be turned into regular pork chops. To do this, simply hold it near fire or use the Fire Aspect enchantment - it will instantly thaw the meat.

Where to Find

Snow pigs spawn in all biomes belonging to the "ICY" category. Look for them in snowy plains, ice peaks, and other cold locations.

Special Drop

If a snow pig is killed by a Stray (skeleton archer from cold biomes), it will drop a unique music disc. The composition for it was created by user Luz#8017.

Important Information

Mod versions for Minecraft 1.12.2 and 1.15.2 are no longer supported! If you want to backport the mod to these versions, contact the author via Discord: Uraneptus#5442 or Twitter.

For Fabric users, a separate version of the mod is available!
