Customize snow and vine placement in your world

Snow Coated is a compact and efficient mod that gives you complete control over which blocks can support snow layers and vines. Instead of following the game's standard rules, you can independently determine which surfaces are suitable for these natural elements.

Flexible tag system for snow

The mod uses a simple tag system that allows you to create blacklists and whitelists for snow cover. Blocks added to the blacklist will never be covered with snow, even if they are full blocks. By default, this list already includes ice, packed ice, and barrier blocks.

On the other hand, the whitelist allows snow to appear on blocks that normally don't support snow layers. Initially, this list includes honey blocks and soul sand.

Advanced options for vines

A similar system works for vines as well. You can prevent their placement on certain blocks through the blacklist or allow them on non-standard surfaces through the whitelist. By default, vines can grow on leaves, but you can easily change this behavior to suit your needs.

This mod is perfect for builders and mapmakers who want to create a unique atmosphere in their worlds without being limited by the game's standard mechanics.
