Smelting Plus - Enhanced Smelting in Minecraft
This data pack for Minecraft Java Edition fundamentally changes the item recycling system. Now when smelting found or crafted items, you receive full ingots instead of regular nuggets.
Install this addon on your world and gain the ability to extract whole ingots from each tool or armor piece. The system even supports recycling diamond and netherite items. Works with any type of furnace - regular or blast.
The smelting process for diamond and netherite items takes longer compared to iron and gold counterparts.
What Can Be Smelted
List of items available for recycling:
- Iron: pickaxe, axe, hoe, sword, helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots, horse armor
- Golden: pickaxe, axe, hoe, sword, helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots, horse armor
- Diamond: pickaxe, axe, hoe, sword, helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots
- Netherite: pickaxe, axe, hoe, sword, helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots
- Additional: bucket, hopper, shears
