About the Modification
Slimier Slimes is a slimy addition filled with numerous sticky delights that will let you have fun with these cute friends. The mod adds diverse content that enriches vanilla Minecraft gameplay with more slimy elements. The developers tried to maintain closeness to the original game mechanics.
New Creatures
The mod presents a wide assortment of new slimes. The original slime was completely reworked for better support. If other mods were based on the standard slime, they may work incorrectly. Settings include an option to resume spawning regular slimes. Report compatibility issues to the developers.
Various types of slimes have been added:
- Creeper Slime
- Camouflage Slime
- Crystal Slime
- Glowing Slime
- Stone Slime
- Lava Slime
- Pink Slime
- Snow Slime
- Goo Slime
- And many more!
Spawning Mechanics
The slime chunk system has been completely removed. Instead, special structures generate underground where all types of slimes appear. Swamps have also become more slimy — you can encounter all slimes there regardless of their usual spawning conditions. Even the smallest slimes now pose a greater threat as they can appear in huge numbers!
Items and Equipment
Slimes no longer drop slimeballs — instead they leave jelly. This jelly can be pressed into the familiar slimeballs, but now in all possible colors!
A completely new armor set has been added, created from slimeballs. Available in all 16 colors! Each piece of armor has unique abilities:
- Boots allow bouncing
- Leggings provide buoyancy underwater
- Helmet protects against falling blocks
- Chestplate knocks back attacking enemies
Blocks and Construction
Slime is now everywhere! Underground, blocks related to jelly appear — not only in slimy structures but also in normal conditions. The classic slime block got colorful counterparts, with each color having its own characteristics. Parkour track creators can use them to create new challenges, while builders get additional slimy colors for interesting constructions.
Additional Information
The developer continues working on improving the color palette. Settings include an option to restore spawning of regular slimes, which solves most compatibility issues with other mods. For this, set the AllowVanillaSlime parameter to true in the server configuration.
