What This Is
This mod makes slight adjustments to terrain generation, adding more variety to the surrounding world. Instead of completely overhauling everything and creating amplified terrain, it makes the landscape a bit more interesting and unusual.
Technical Details
Each biome in the game has depth and scale parameters that determine its shape (these are what make mountains tall and plains flat). This mod borrows scale and depth parameters from other biomes during world generation, creating additional variety. You'll still encounter flat plains and tall mountains. In most cases, the changes will be almost unnoticeable. But sometimes you might discover a plain with mountain formations or an unexpectedly tall dark forest.
