Slice By Slice is a lightweight mod that completely transforms interaction with world-placeable food items like cakes, making it much more flexible and realistic.

Key Features

Realistic Food Consumption: Cakes are no longer consumed instantly. Like other food items, each piece requires time to eat - you'll need to continuously hold the right mouse button to take a bite.

Dish Restoration: If you have mods that add cake or pie slices (such as Farmer's Delight), you can use these pieces to replenish the corresponding blocks, restoring a whole dish from parts.

Fall Protection: Landing on a cake softens fall damage. However, be cautious - falling from a great height may not only absorb part of the damage but also destroy the cake itself.

Preserving Integrity: Tools with the "Silk Touch" enchantment allow you to collect a cake in its entirety without damaging its structure or losing already cut slices.
