An Intelligent and Dangerous Opponent in Your Minecraft World
The Slender mod introduces an intelligent entity into the game, whose main purpose is to frighten and eliminate players. If you're looking for genuine thrills, this mod was made specifically for you - the developer admits to being scared multiple times during testing.
Five Unique Types of Slenders
The mod includes five different variations of this mysterious entity, each with unique abilities and behaviors:
Normal Slender - aggressively pursues the player with the intent to kill, but disappears on its own after some time.
Slender Paranoia - an invisible opponent that slowly approaches the player. Upon collision with the player, it has a 50% chance to disappear.
Slender JumpScare - rapidly runs toward the player, and when approaching within 10 blocks, disappears, striking lightning and spawning a Normal Slender.
Slender Illusion - chases the player and when closing within 35 blocks, disappears, with a 70% chance of creating a Slender Shadow and 30% chance of spawning a Normal Slender.
Slender Shadow - attacks the player and when approaching within 7 blocks, disappears, applying negative effects: Blindness 3, Slowness 2, and Nausea 2, each lasting 15 seconds.
Features and Loot
Of the five Slender types, only one poses a direct lethal threat, while the others are primarily designed to create an atmosphere of fear and tension. When any Slender is killed, it drops a unique item - a finger.
From this finger, you can create the weapon "Finger on Stick," which functions like a hoe and has durability comparable to diamond tools.
