About Skelly & Bones Mod
This modification introduces two new neutral mobs to the game that spawn exclusively during nighttime rain. These unique characters bring new interaction opportunities and valuable items to your gaming world.
Mob Behavior Features
Skelly has a chance to appear during rainy nights and passively generates the Bones mob around itself if none is nearby. When trading with these creatures, the player gains experience. All trades are randomly generated, and enchantments on items are always randomized.
If Skelly or Bones is attacked, they will defend themselves and attack the aggressor, regardless of whether it's a player or an iron golem.
New Items
The Iron Pike is a new weapon type similar to an iron sword but with distinctive characteristics. It's slower than a regular sword but deals more damage than an iron sword. Like swords, the pike can be enchanted.
The Iron Knight Helmet has the same properties as a regular iron helmet but features improved characteristics, including armor toughness and knockback resistance.
Both items cannot be crafted through a workbench - they can only be obtained through trading with or killing Skelly and Bones. Damaged items can be repaired using iron blocks.
Configuration Settings
To change settings, navigate to the configuration folder of your Minecraft game, where you'll find the corresponding file. It can be edited using Notepad, Notepad++, or any other text editor.
Available settings:
- dialogue_when_close: When set to true, Skelly and Bones will communicate in chat when near the player; when false, communication is disabled.
- spawning_sound: When true, a melody plays when mobs spawn; when false, the sound is disabled.
- spawning_message: When true, a message appears in chat when mobs spawn; when false, the message is not displayed.
- spawn_bones_around_skelly_only_when_raining_and_night: When false, Bones always spawns around Skelly; when true, spawning occurs only during nighttime rain.
