Simply Speakers
Add atmosphere and personality to your Minecraft world with the Simply Speakers mod! This useful utility opens up completely new possibilities for sound design in your builds and adventures.
Main Features
Create sound speakers that are easy to craft and place anywhere in your world. You no longer have to be content with Minecraft's standard sound set - now you can upload any audio files and play them during gameplay.
Easy Sound Setup
Open the speaker interface with a simple right-click and enter the path to your audio file. The mod supports popular MP3 and WAV formats, allowing you to use almost any music track or sound effect.
Redstone Control
Speakers respond to redstone signals: applying power starts sound playback, while removing the signal stops it. This allows you to create complex audio systems integrated into your mechanisms.
Adjustable Sound Range
Audio emanates from the speaker in a set radius, defaulting to 16 blocks. If needed, this parameter can be configured in the range from 1 to 512 blocks through configuration files. Players entering the audible zone begin hearing the sound, while those leaving it automatically stop hearing it.
Multiplayer Compatibility
The mod works perfectly on servers - all players within the speaker's range will hear sound effects simultaneously, opening up opportunities for collaborative music projects and creating shared space atmosphere.
Platform Versatility
Simply Speakers is available for the two most popular mod loaders - Fabric and Forge, ensuring compatibility with most mod packs and collections.
Future Updates
Many improvements are planned for development:
- Ability to pause audio playback
- Volume adjustment for individual speakers
- Playback speed control
- Additional features and management options
Required Dependencies
For proper mod operation requires:
- Architectury API
- Fabric Loader files (for Fabric version)
