Simple Flax
The Simple Flax mod adds just one new plant to the game - flax. This crop grows two blocks tall and provides players with an alternative way to obtain string, eliminating the need to hunt spiders. This allows for large-scale string production without impacting server performance.
Getting Started
To find flax seeds, simply search through tall grass. Once you find them, cultivation becomes as straightforward as with any other agricultural crops. Enjoy unlimited string supplies!

Historical Note
The concept of creating a plant that provides string belongs to developer Eloraam and was first implemented in the RedPower 2 modification. Although this mod makes efforts to recreate the original concept, all code and graphics are created from scratch without direct copying.
