Simple Creative Menu

The mod simplifies working with Minecraft's creative menu, making the item search process more convenient. By default, when opening the inventory, Minecraft automatically focuses on the search bar, which can cause inconveniences—for example, when selecting an item, the entire input field is highlighted, and the next key press might completely replace your query.

This modification disables automatic focus on the search bar. Now when opening the creative menu, you can comfortably work with mods like JEI without worrying about which tab is selected. If you need to find an item—simply click in the search field. To quickly clear a query, right-click just like in JEI.

Although the changes seem minor, they noticeably improve the gameplay experience. The mod was inspired by Mezz (the author of JEI), after discussing a bug related to searching in creative mode, which prompted the realization about the unnecessary automatic focus in the default system.
