Simple Addons

This mod adds various useful items and mechanics to Minecraft that, in the author's opinion, are missing from the standard version 1.8.9 of the game.

New Items and Blocks

• Lava Crystal - a special block that creates a lava source when broken
• Water Crystal - a similar block for creating water sources
• Knife - a tool for making bacon from pork chops
• Juicer - a device for creating various juices from fruits
• Hammer - used to make chain plates
• Chain Plates - components for creating chain armor
• Growth Crystal - functions as a sprinkler, similar to version 1.7.10, covering a 9x9 farm area
• Lamp Block - created from a torch and glass
• Colored Lamps - made using a torch and colored glass blocks
• Charcoal Block - created from 9 charcoal units and can be disassembled back
• Dead Reed - a decorative block without a crafting recipe
• Wooden Bucket - can only be used for water
• Tools and weapons made from andesite, diorite, and granite
• Scrap Metal - obtained when disassembling horse armor, can be smelted into ingots
• Diamond-tipped Hammer - used to create crushed obsidian
• Rotten Leather - made from rotten flesh and fired to obtain leather

New Crafting Recipes

Now you can create: name tags, leather, saddles, horse armor, cobwebs, sponges, ice, packed ice, as well as chests (4 pieces from logs). For making stone tools, you now need to use stone blocks instead of cobblestone. Horse armor can be disassembled using a hammer.

Food Products

• Bacon - made from pork chops using a knife
• Cooked Bacon - obtained by frying bacon in a furnace
• Monster Jerky - made from fried rotten flesh
• Toast - obtained by toasting bread
• Fried Egg - cooked from an egg in a furnace
• Fried Mushrooms - both brown and red mushrooms can be fried
• Bacon and Eggs - a dish made from fried egg, bacon, and a plate
• Various juices: apple, carrot, cactus, watermelon, and slime
• Updated bread recipe

Almost all mod features can be disabled through the configuration file. You can also adjust the burning time of the charcoal block.

The mod is constantly evolving and being supplemented with new features. The author welcomes suggestions for adding new content.
