Shret Nether

The Shret Nether mod significantly enriches all Nether biomes by adding diverse vegetation and six new mobs that make exploring this dangerous territory more interesting and engaging.

Warped Forest

This biome features a unique mushroom with special properties, a new light source, and a mob called the Weeping Stroller. This peaceful inhabitant serves as a source of food and leather, although it's less efficient than hoglins or cows. However, its main advantage is that it doesn't show aggression toward the player, making the Warped Forest the only truly safe place in the Nether. The mob can be bred, and future updates will add additional drop items.

Crimson Forest

Here, three new types of mushrooms and ground vegetation appear. One mushroom can be combined with Crimson Fungus to create stew, another is used for making torches, and the third allows creating poisoned arrows. The new mob - the Leechound - is a small but fast predator. Despite low health, it has the ability to heal with each attack, making it a challenging target for unprepared players. When killed, it drops its skin, which can be processed into leather.

Nether Wastes

This biome receives a fiery mushroom that can be used as fuel, as well as a new ore - Nether Fossil. Although this ore appears in other biomes too, it's easiest to mine in the Wastes. Currently, its main use is creating bone meal for growing nylium. World generation also features blackstone deposits above lava level, simplifying the creation of stone tools and providing more building materials. The flying mob Red Jawber occasionally attacks the player, but its attacks are easy to avoid. It drops wing membrane, which serves as an alternative to feathers when crafting arrows.

Basalt Deltas

This biome features ash that behaves similarly to snow - it can be layered on blocks for building. The new mob Torters can climb basalt pillars to reach the player.

Soul Sand Valley

This lifeless biome receives Deathmist that covers lava surfaces and damages the player (this feature can be disabled in settings). The new mob Soulbeast is a massive and fast creature assembled from remains of various animals. It attacks the player at full speed, so good armor, a shield, or a bow will be necessary to counter it.

Beneath the lava surface, there's a chance for Lava Golems to spawn when netherrack is destroyed by explosions - be careful when mining netherite using beds!

The mod has limited compatibility with Comfortable Nether. The project is in active development, so many features will be refined, and currently useless elements will gain new purposes in future updates.
