Shadows of Greg
Shadows of Greg is a fork of the Gregic Additions project, redesigned to function properly with modern versions of GregTech CE. This update became necessary due to the discontinuation of original Gregic Additions development and changes in GTCE that required adaptation. The source mod is distributed under LGPLv3 license, while Shadows of Greg uses GPLv3 — such modification is permitted by LGPLv3 terms.
Starting from version 3.0.0, Shadows of Greg requires GregTech Nomifactory Edition to operate. Earlier releases are compatible with GregTech Community Edition.
Game worlds created with GregTech Community Edition and Shadows of Greg 2.20.4 can be migrated to GregTech Nomifactory Edition with Shadows of Greg 3.0.0+. It's recommended to review the changelogs of both projects to understand potential differences.
Features
The mod includes all features from Gregic Additions that weren't directly added to GregTech:
- Additional materials: curved plates, double ingots, rounds
- Cluster mill for foil production
- Advanced pulverizer Blend-O-Matic
- Enhanced tiers for various GTCE machines, including alloy smelter, brewery, and canning machine
- Assembly line — large-scale automatic crafting machine
- Numerous other elements previously available only in GT5u and GT6
Content from original Gregic Additions not listed above has most likely been implemented in GTCE and is not present in this version.
Starting from Shadows of Greg 2.10.0, the GTCEBees addon has been merged with the main mod.
