Seed Guard
The Seed Guard mod protects your world seed by changing the placement of various elements and structures, preventing the possibility of determining the original seed.
How It Works
When generating a world, Minecraft first creates the basic surface shape, then distributes biomes, and finally adds surface elements. These include various objects (trees, sugar cane, grass, ores...) and structures (villages, pillager outposts...).
Each element and structure has its own seed, which in the standard version of the game is hardcoded (this ensures that a world with the same seed always looks identical). Seed Guard replaces these seeds with randomly generated ones, making it impossible to determine the world seed based on the placement of elements or structures.
Comparative Overview
Seed Guard changes the placement of elements and structures in Minecraft. The following video demonstrates the difference between a world with the mod installed and one without it.
