Main Features

This mod allows you to make water and lava transparent with fully customizable fog density and transparency. You decide how well you can see through these liquids.

Configuration

Fog parameters in water and lava are configured through the config/seethroughlava.json5 file. Configuration documentation is available on GitHub. If you have ModMenu installed, you can change settings directly in the game menu.

Compatibility

Optifine: The mod is incompatible with Optifine - the game won't crash, but the fog level won't change.

Origins: This mod also affects fog code. Compatibility with Origins is maintained, but if problems occur, try temporarily removing Origins and checking See Through Water/Lava functionality. In such cases, report the issue with versions of both mods.

Sodium Extra: Incompatible since this mod overwrites fog code, blocking See Through Water/Lava functionality.

Requirements

Cloth Config API is required for the mod to work.

Important Information

The mod only needs to be installed on the client side.
