Screencapper
In vanilla Minecraft, the screenshot process is quite inconvenient. After pressing the screenshot key, you have to manually search for the screenshot folder, copy the image file, and only then share it with other players. Often there's a need to first upload the screenshot to a third-party image hosting service.
Screencapper fundamentally changes this process. Now after taking a screenshot, you immediately see its preview and can instantly upload the image to your chosen hosting service or copy it to the clipboard for quick sharing.
Advantages over Shotify
This mod was completely rewritten based on Shotify but offers significant improvements. It operates more stably, has optimized performance and extended functionality, including support for uploading screenshots to ShareX services.
The original Shotify mod is no longer supported by developers and won't be updated for Minecraft versions 1.19 and newer, while Screencapper continues to be actively developed.
Comparison with Essential
Although the Essential client includes similar functionality, its implementation contains numerous bugs and often conflicts with other mods. Screencapper offers a more reliable and compatible solution.
