Introduction to the SCP World
The Eyeballs mod introduces players to a new creature from the SCP universe. This entity is known by the code name SCP-718, or simply Eyeballs.
Features of SCP-718
SCP-718 is a tall eye on a thin stalk that stalks the player. When the creature spots a target, it slowly approaches and stops at a distance of five blocks. If the player comes within three blocks, they become locked in mutual gaze with the entity.
When SCP-718 is destroyed, the eye tears open. Sometimes this results in the appearance of a Black Bubble, which after some time transforms into a new SCP-718. If the player is too close when killing the creature, there's a chance of receiving the Eye Infection effect, which gradually impairs vision. The death of an infected player leads to the appearance of a new Black Bubble and the birth of another SCP-718.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are messages appearing in the console?
Most mobs use special spawning conditions, meaning they only generate under specific circumstances. The operation of these conditions causes corresponding messages in the console.
Why can't I summon the mob?
Spawning conditions determine the requirements for generating specific mobs. Some creatures only appear above Y level 60, others below. Most mobs can only generate in the overworld, not in other dimensions.
Why are features missing in different versions?
It's recommended to play the newest versions of Minecraft. Not all MCreator features are available or the same in different versions. For example, version 1.19.2 doesn't support shields, improved structure generation, or custom villagers, while version 1.20.1 has these capabilities.
Where does SCP-718 spawn?
SCP-718 can spawn anywhere in the overworld, like a regular monster.
How to stop SCP-718 bubbles from hatching?
To prevent new SCP-718 instances from appearing, SCP-718 bubbles must be set on fire. The creature creates bubbles or infects players only when it's not burning.
Detailed Behavior Description
SCP-718 are large organic eyes on long thin stalks. They remain stationary until they see a player, after which they slowly approach, never breaking eye contact. Upon reaching a distance of five blocks, they stop. At three blocks, the player becomes locked in mutual gaze.
When killed, SCP-718 tears open. Sometimes this results in a Black Bubble appearing, which transforms into a new SCP-718 after 20 seconds. Close-range kills carry the risk of receiving the Eye Infection effect, which disorients vision over time. If you die with this effect while not on fire, a new black bubble appears that turns into a new SCP-718 instance. Fire is the only way to prevent SCP-718 from infecting you or spawning a black bubble.
