SCP-513, The Cowbell

The mod adds a terrifying addition in the spirit of the SCP universe. In the world, you can find an old, rusted cowbell called "SCP-513". It is picked up by sneaking and right-clicking. However, the sound of this bell carries great danger.

Curse of the Bell

Any player who hears the bell is immediately afflicted with the "Curse of the Bell" effect. It manifests as the appearance of a tormenting creature - SCP-513-1. A tall, thin, grey humanoid silhouette begins to pursue the player, watching from a safe distance. Upon attempting to approach, the ghost vanishes - only to soon reappear in a completely different location. Quiet breathing sounds serve as timely warnings of its presence.

Serious risks arise during attempts to rest - the creature gains the ability to attack the sleeping player, dealing noticeable damage. The curse intensifies over time - SCP-513-1 appears more frequently. Breaking the curse requires the character to die.

What to Keep in Mind

The item is unique - only one instance of SCP-513 exists in the world.

The mob spawns on the surface in the Overworld. It does not negatively affect game performance. ![]()

However, the bell itself can be neutralized by trapping it in a Gel Block. ![]()
