SCP-427, Lovecraftian Locket
The Lovecraftian Locket mod adds a unique artifact from the SCP universe to Minecraft. This item is known as SCP-427 - an elegant silver locket that can be found on the ground surface.
Dangerous Power
SCP-427 initially appears to be an incredibly useful artifact. If kept open in the inventory, it gradually grants the player various abilities:
- Health regeneration from the very beginning of use
- After 30 seconds - cleansing from poison and wither effects
- After 90 seconds - night vision and saturation
- After 3 minutes - strength, speed, haste, and dolphin's grace
The Dark Side
However, this power comes at a high price. The longer the locket remains open, the more unstable the transformation becomes. After 3 minutes and 40 seconds, a mutation warning appears, and after 4 minutes of continuous use, SCP-427 kills its bearer, transforming them into the horrific creature SCP-427-1.
Artifact Management
Right-clicking the locket on the ground allows you to pick it up. To place the locket back on the ground, you need to crouch when it's closed. Right-clicking without crouching opens the locket.
SCP-427-1 - Flesh Beast
SCP-427-1 is the mutated form of a player affected by the locket. This creature possesses:
- Very high health and damage resistance
- Immunity to projectiles
- High movement speed on land and in water
- Ability to break blocks in its path when aggressive
- Deals massive damage
Despite its power, the creature is vulnerable to fire, which deals increased damage to it.
Important Information
SCP-427 can spawn in the overworld like a regular mob, but only one instance can exist at a time.
The mod was created using MCreator and requires Geckolib installation for proper operation. It's recommended to use the latest versions of Minecraft to access all features.
Creature Spawning Features
Most creatures in the mod use special spawning conditions, meaning they can only appear under specific circumstances. Some spawn only above Y-level 60, others below, with most limited to the overworld.
