SCP-058, Heart of Darkness

SCP-058

Dangerous Creature from the SCP Universe

The "Heart of Darkness" mod introduces players to a new deadly monster based on the legendary SCP-058 from the SCP Foundation universe. This creature, known as the Heart of Darkness, is an extremely aggressive being resembling a heart with four limbs and five tentacles.

Behavioral Features

SCP-058 is distinguished by incredible movement speed and deadly attacks. The monster can climb walls and perform powerful jumps, destroying blocks in its path. Its attacks inflict significant damage and cause the Bleeding effect, which darkens the victim's vision and causes gradual health loss.

Unique Abilities

When a player approaches SCP-058 within a 10-block radius, the creature begins transmitting disturbing messages, enhancing the horror atmosphere. The monster hunts not only players but also animals and villagers. In an aggressive state, it can break through obstacles, destroying everything in its path.

Spawning Conditions

SCP-058 can appear in the overworld like other hostile mobs, but only one instance of this creature can exist simultaneously.

Technical Requirements

The mod requires Geckolib installation:

  • GeckoLib for version 1.19.2
  • GeckoLib for version 1.20.1

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do spawn messages appear in the console? Most mobs use special spawning conditions, which can cause corresponding messages in the console.

Why can't I summon the mob? Some creatures only appear under specific conditions, such as above or below certain Y levels, or only in certain dimensions.

Why are some features missing in different Minecraft versions? It is recommended to use the latest Minecraft versions, as not all MCreator features are available or identical across different game versions.
