Scenic - Mod for Creating Picturesque Landscapes

The Scenic mod expands building possibilities in Minecraft by adding various decorative blocks that help you create stunning natural landscapes and transform the surrounding world.

Grass of Different Heights

The world now generates grass in two additional sizes - shorter than the standard version. This allows for creating more diverse and realistic meadows and fields.

Roots and Hanging Plants

The mod adds three types of root systems: two variants of hanging roots of different lengths and ground roots that appear in forest biomes. They can be harvested with shears for use in your own projects or simply broken to obtain sticks.

Rocks and Cave Formations

Rock piles appear throughout the world, which can be expanded by adding additional rocks. This creates realistic rock clusters of various sizes for your builds. Rocks can be created by placing cobblestone in the stonecutter or found in caves. Excess rocks can easily be turned back into cobblestone by arranging them in a 3×3 crafting grid.

Underground caves now feature stalactites and stalagmites. They can be collected using the Silk Touch enchantment or mined to obtain rocks.

Rare Beach Finds

On ocean shores, you can occasionally discover fish skeletons - the sad remains of unfortunate sea creatures. They serve as an early source of bones or can be collected with Silk Touch.

Additional Blocks for Landscape Design

Your building arsenal is expanded with rocky dirt, mossy rocky dirt, and mossy gravel. Rocky dirt is perfect for decorating slopes and cliffs, while mossy blocks look great near water bodies.

New Brick Variants

The game now features mossy and cracked red bricks, complementing the existing stone variants.

Colored Lanterns

Lanterns can be modified using stained glass panes, creating sixteen different color options for additional decorative variety.
