Saro´s Log Saver
This practical Forge mod is designed to prevent accidental bark removal from valuable wood logs in your builds and forest areas. The main goal is to give builders, landscape designers, and nature enthusiasts the ability to maintain the pristine appearance of wood in specific zones or individual elements.
Individual Log Protection
A special Log Saver tool is used for operation: simply right-click to activate protection on the desired log, and it will no longer be processable with an axe. The protection can be easily removed the same way - another right-click on a protected log will return it to normal state.
Area Group Protection
The mod supports mass application of functions. To select an area: hold Shift and click on the starting log, then move to the endpoint and perform a normal right-click - all logs within the rectangular zone will receive protection. Mass removal of protection works similarly, but requires using the Shift + Right-click combination at the second point.
Visual Cues
The system uses color coding for clarity:
- Green - shows protected logs
- Yellow - marks the first selection point in group mode
- Blue - demonstrates preview of the future impact zone
Outlines are only visible when the Log Saver tool is active, preserving the cleanliness of the game interface in normal mode.
