Sanity And Insanity
The Sanity And Insanity modification introduces a unique mechanic into the game - the sanity scale. Your character now has a psychological state that changes depending on actions and events in the game world.
How Sanity Works
Ingame actions significantly affect the sanity level. For example, eating a spider eye leads to mental confusion, while a tasty golden apple helps restore mental balance.
What Strengthens Mental Health?
- Favorable surrounding environment
- Healthy and quality food
- Maintaining good well-being
- Calm fishing - food for the soul
- Communication with other characters
- Caring for a pet
- Proper rest
- Completing achievements
What Destroys Sanity?
- Difficult and dangerous conditions
- Disgusting food
- Prolonged hunger
- Lightning strike
- Traumatic events
- Destroying garden beds
- Lack of sleep
Sanity Bar
Above the traditional health and hunger indicators, a mental state bar is now displayed. Monitor its level and try to maintain high indicators!
Consequences of Insanity
A strong decrease in sanity leads to the appearance of the "Insanity" effect. You begin to experience tormenting hallucinations, lose the ability to see clearly, and gradually die.
Controls
Commands: Use the /sanity command to check or configure the sanity level for selected players.
Hotkeys:
- Press "G" to change the bar position
- Press "U" to hide/show the indicator

The mod is compatible with various builds - you can freely use it in your projects. Credit would be nice to see but is not a mandatory requirement.
