Sanguis
The Sanguis modification introduces a bleeding mechanic into Minecraft, inspired by the Soulsborne game series, along with various equipment specializing in working with this effect.
How Bleeding Works
Bleeding is a special status that deals absolute damage (not reduced by any means of protection, including armor and potions) when reaching level 5. Each application of the effect increases its level by 1 (in some cases — by 2). The bleeding level of a mob can be determined by the number of special particles surrounding it. Some mobs are immune to bleeding (undead, golems, and others). When the effect activates, you will hear a special sound. If you have bleeding, a spectacular overlay will appear on the screen.
How to Get Unbound Blood
Unbound Blood is a key item in Sanguis, required for crafting everything from this modification. It can be obtained in two ways: crafted on a workbench from crimson lily (drops when killing a hostile mob on a block with a small flower), blaze powder, nether wart, and an iron nugget, or bought from a cleric for an ender pearl and a ghast tear.

Sanguis adds various types of weapons — both melee and ranged (or semi-ranged). On their own, they are not impressive, but their power is revealed in combination with bleeding application and special abilities. Melee weapons always apply bleeding on hit.

In addition to weapons, Sanguis adds other equipment and enchantments focused on bleeding.
Eye of Sanguinius
An eye from the golden armor of the Great Angel. When the artifact is in the second hand, its owner is cursed with an insatiable hunger that can only be satisfied by attacking enemies with bleeding. In return, when restoring hunger with the help of this artifact, the owner also restores part of their health.
Chant of Blood
A book full of arcane knowledge... or just a cleric's cookbook — it remains to be deciphered what is written in it. When the book is held in the second hand, the owner gains the ability to summon bloody shadows of slain enemies. Although these shadows are not perfect copies of the killed monsters, they are strong enough to protect the owner. They attack any nearby monsters or those who try to attack the owner (except for other players).
Dr. Faust
A hat made from demonic remains, possessing the power to deprive enemies of their blood. But since it is a demonic artifact, the one who wears this hat is also under its effect, so one should not recklessly try to collect the blood of enemies. Michael Jackson is not included.

Enchantments:
Rupture — an enchantment for weapons. Weapons with this enchantment can apply bleeding to the attacked enemy. The higher the enchantment level, the higher the chance of applying bleeding.
Bloodlust — a curse for weapons. Guarantees the application of bleeding on attack both to you and the attacked one.
Bleed — an enchantment for chestplates. You have a 1 in 2 chance to negate incoming damage and apply bleeding to yourself.
