Rusted Iron
Adds a realistic oxidation system for iron blocks, transferring the copper patina mechanics to iron. Iron blocks gradually rust over time, giving your builds an authentic vintage appearance with natural wear and tear.

Mod Features
The mod introduces a complete rusting cycle for iron blocks, similar to copper oxidation in the vanilla game. Blocks go through several degradation stages from pristine metal to fully rusted condition. In addition to the main mechanics, decorative cut iron blocks have been added for greater variety in building.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be a backport to older Minecraft versions? No, support for older versions is not planned.
Why weren't rusty iron bars, doors, cauldrons, or golems added? In the original Minecraft version, only copper blocks and their cut variants oxidize, while other copper items remain unchanged. We decided to follow this logic and not extend the rusting mechanics to all iron-containing objects to maintain balance and consistency with the vanilla style.
