Runecraft: Heritage of the Dragonkin

The continuation of my Runescape-themed mod series: Heritage of the Dragonkin

This compact modification introduces a new material tier that surpasses netherite! The mod adds a complete Dragonite equipment set, including a sword. A lightweight version of the gear is also available, featuring a medium helmet, chainmail body, and plate skirts.

Two shield variants are included: the classic kite-shaped shield and a square shield.

Orikalkum ore is as rare as lapis lazuli and can be found at the same levels with similar rarity. No special treatment or complex smelting process is required - simply mine it and place it in a furnace. However, please note that crafting some equipment pieces requires netherite and bones!

IMPORTANT: CURIOS API is required for the mod to function!

History and Interesting Facts

Orikalkum, known to adventurers as "dragon metal," is a durable red alloy. Equipment made from this material is considered the next evolutionary step after netherite and belongs to the metal gear category.

Orikalkum is based on the mythical metal Orichalcum (or Aurichalcum), which is mentioned in connection with Atlantis in Plato's writings and was also used to describe the alloy in some Roman coins. It is believed to have been a type of brass created by the ancient Greeks.
