RF Utilities
The RF Utilities modification provides a specialized set of blocks for working with the RedstoneFlux energy system. All models are designed with reference to their real-world electronic counterparts.
Main Components
- Capacitors - available in 7 different variants: 4 require ThermalExpansion mod, 3 work with EnderIO
- Switch - basic element for controlling energy flow
- Resistor - limits the power current strength
- Diode - controls the direction of energy movement
- Transistor - switch controlled by redstone signals
Planned Update
In the near future, an RF Meter is planned to be added, which will display the current energy flow.
Compatibility and Features
In version 1.8.9, some limitations were identified:
- No crafting recipes available
- The simple tesseract cannot be made visible again after being hidden
Versions 1.7.10 and 1.10.2 function stably without known issues.
Technical Notes
In version 1.10.2, capacitors that depend on ThermalExpansion display a red tooltip if the required mod is not installed. The same applies to EnderIO variants. This only affects crafting capability. The Simple Tesseract is temporarily deactivated and undergoing a complete rewrite.
