RetroBees – Return of Classic Bees

An addon for the Forestry mod that revives the original bee species that existed in this modification before Minecraft version 1.7. For fans of vintage beekeeping mechanics, this is a real gift – an opportunity to return to the origins of this gaming system's development.

Optional Dependencies

For full functionality of some features, additional mods are required:

• Tech Reborn and Reborn Core
• Project E

Important: All bees and items will appear in JEI and creative tabs even if the specified mods are missing. However, associated items and bee species without these mods will have no practical use and crafting recipes.

Project E Integration

The mod includes successors to the famous bee species from Equivalent Exchange 2, almost identical to the originals. The main difference is that the amount of required and produced EMC energy is now fully configurable through configuration files.

Main Project E Bee Species

• Darkened Bee – requires 139,264 EMC by default and any tier relay/collector
• Reddened Bee – requires 466,944 EMC by default and relay equipment
• Omega Bee – requires 933,888 EMC by default and switching equipment
• Philosopher's Bee – requires 678,912 EMC by default and infrastructure
• Alchemical Coal Bee – requires 713,728 EMC by default and standard equipment
• Mobius Bee – requires 818,176 EMC by default and transmission system
• Aeternalis Bee – requires 1,235,968 EMC by default and any relay/collector variant

Philosophical Mutation System

Certain bee species can undergo special transmutation using the Philosopher's Bee. This feature can be adjusted in the configuration or completely disabled. The system currently includes:

• Coal Bee transmutation: 687,616 EMC
• Iron Bee transmutation: 696,320 EMC
• Gold Bee transmutation: 818,176 EMC
• Diamond Bee transmutation: 1,235,968 EMC
• Emerald Bee transmutation: 1,793,024 EMC
• Ender Pearl Bee transmutation: 748,544 EMC

Future updates will expand this transformational system with new bee species and mechanics.
