Requiem - Rethinking Death in Minecraft
Requiem is a modification for Minecraft Java Edition that fundamentally changes the approach to in-game death. In the standard version of the game, death represents a break in gameplay: you lose all items and find yourself in a respawn point selection menu. Requiem eliminates this menu, turning death into a full-fledged gameplay element with unique mechanics.

Frequently asked questions
Why are mob drops worse when possessing? Your prey was killed by a mob, not by a player. To improve the situation, you can find a "Humanity" enchantment book in a Nether fortress.
Why is the mod made on Fabric? We consider Fabric a more convenient platform for such a project. We don't plan to port the mod to Forge ourselves, but we welcome help from the community.
Why doesn't the mod launch? You might have forgotten to install Fabric API, or the Requiem version doesn't support your Minecraft version. In the latter case, you can politely inform us about it in the comments.
