Repurposed Structures (Neoforge/Forge)

What is this mod about?
Repurposed Structures is a modification that takes existing vanilla Minecraft structures and features and creates new variants or modifications of them! Originally, most structures in this mod were created for the Ultra Amplified Dimension mod. However, the author then realized that these elements would look great in the regular Overworld as well, so decided to separate them into their own mod and continue adding new biome variants of standard structures. Over time, other contributors joined the development, adding their own vanilla-style structures.
Key Features
- Server compatibility: The mod works entirely server-side, allowing vanilla clients to connect
- New structure variants: Adds unique versions of standard buildings for different biomes
- Flexible configuration: Ability to disable structures and change their spawn rates through datapacks
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Can the mod be used server-side only? Answer: Yes! The mod doesn't add new blocks or mobs, so it can run exclusively on the server.
Question: How to disable RS structures in versions 1.18.2 and newer? Answer: Starting from 1.18.2, all structures are presented as datapacks. Use the special configuration datapack for settings.
Question: Is the mod compatible with YUNG's mods? Answer: Yes, all YUNG's mods are fully compatible with Repurposed Structures. Both groups of structures will spawn in the world.
Question: Why don't banners appear in chests? Answer: To get banners, you need the Luck effect, which is not available in vanilla. You'll need to use other mods or datapacks.
Question: Can achievements be disabled? Answer: Yes, there are datapacks to disable the mod's achievements.
Mod Configuration
Starting from version 1.18.2, most Repurposed Structures parameters can be changed through datapacks. This includes disabling structures, changing spawn rates, mine generation height, village sizes, and much more.
Pre-made Datapacks
Since most structures use NBT files, template pools, and processors, you can override them with datapacks. This allows customizing blocks in structures, adding elements from other mods, and more.
