RedPack Utils
RedPack Utils is a compact utility mod originally created for my personal packs. It bundles various tweaks and features that were either unavailable in other mods or didn't justify installing multiple small modifications. The mod's source code is open - you're free to use, modify, or borrow individual components for your own projects.
Customizable Features
Among the range of adjustable functions, you'll discover:
No Attack Cooldown - a new game rule noAttackCooldown that disables the cooldown between attacks in the modern combat system. By default, this rule is disabled.
Startup Sound - the game plays a random sound from a specially configured list that can be edited in the configuration.
Free Enchantment Combination - the ability to combine any spells while ignoring compatibility checks.
Mob Griefing Blacklist - a flexible system allowing you to prevent specific entities from damaging the world through mod settings.
Improved Bonemeal - new capabilities include transforming dirt into grass blocks and fine-tuning the probability of grass appearing instead of flowers.
Campfire Effects - while near campfires, players receive beneficial effects and are cleansed of negative conditions, similar to bonfires from Dark Souls (without the respawn feature).
Structure-based Spawn Point - setting the player's initial spawn point to specific world structures during generation.
Window Title Customization - for pack developers: the ability to replace "Minecraft Forge" with a unique project name.
Memory Usage Display - current and allocated memory resources are shown in the window title for convenient optimization without using F3.
Additional Improvements
- Traders never run out of stock
- Bows with Infinity enchantment don't require arrows in inventory
- Crafting with bucketed items returns the bucket
- Removal of boat fall damage (system was unstable)
- Disabled mob attraction cooldown to food items
- Creative tab tooltips removed to prevent duplication
Compatibility with Other Mods
Fixed issues with Nature's Compass and Explorer's Compass mod interfaces in version 1.20.1, where element display was doubled when used with mods like Raised.
Use in Modpacks
The mod can be freely integrated into any packs. However, complete technical support may be limited.
